As a new business venture it is difficult to create a portfolio of work at this moment in time. If you were looking for an example of a site created by BCW well you have already found one - this site was created by Black Country Web including all logos and graphics.
A list of just some of the websites created by Black Country Web:
Rowley Home and Garden Services
Black Country Web was commissioned by Rowley Home and Garden Services to produce a layout for a new website.
The client had previously used a free web authoring service and found that the site that had been created lacked a certain appeal and functionality, the owner was seeking a more professional looking website with its own branding and identity.
BCW created website and also helped create a “brand identity” for the company which included designing a new logo, business cards, letterheads and coming up with marketing slogans and advice for the business. Assistance was also provided with regards to the actual content of the website - how the pages were laid out, the language, types of pages appropriate for a web audience etc.
Testimonial:
We approached a number of companies but as soon as we met Matthew we knew that Black Country Web were the right company for us. His friendly approach and the in depth understanding of just what we needed soon shone through. He translated all the computer jargon for us so we knew exactly what was happening every step of the way and took all the worry out of the venture.
Since our website went live our customers old and new have commented on how good the site looks and our enquiries have increased by at least 20%. This just has to be a good thing.

Diskin Drainage Solutions
Diskin Drainage Solutions Ltd contacted Black Country Web with regards to creating a website for this newly formed business.
The site is a "brochure style" website and contains pages listing the services offered by the company.
A main "services" page was created which provides brief information about each service on offer with links to additional pages providing further information, imagery and contact details.
DDS also wanted an Online Contact Form so that people viewing the website could easily get in touch to enquire about services and arrange site visits/call outs.

The Family History Sleuth
When a new business venture began in Dorset the place they came for a website was Black Country Web.
You see we don't just cater for businesses in the Black Country we can do make websites for anyone all over the country - England, Scotland and Wales - in fact anywhere in the world - that's the beauty of Internet and Email!
The Family History Sleuth or "Sleuth" to his friends provides research to people tracing their family tree, the website gives people information and advice for starting research and provides ways of getting in touch with the Sleuth if they need a helping hand.
Wow, that is fantastic- I kind of suspected it would be and left work early this week as the suspense was too much being away!
Thank you so much, it is wonderful, and much sleeker than I could have dreamed up.

The Black Country
The Black Country.Net is a new venture launching in June 2007 which hopes to create a "Virtual Black Country" by providing links to a variety of Black Country Websites.
The website is aimed at those who live in The Black Country which in modern times is said to be covered by the local council authorities of Dudley, Sandwell Walsall and Wolverhampton.
The new "Search The Black Country" feature has proved popular which searches a predefined selection of Black Country Websites to find useful web pages with a Black Country connection. The search results can be narrowed down to specific needs such as News, Local History, Council Websites and Places to Go. This is all achieved using the well known Google search engine.
The interactive clickable maps of "Places to Visit" has also gone down well so far.
Visitors Feedback:
I'm thrilled to have found this useful website, I've been studying the area of The Black Country for over two years, my maternal grandparents were from Dudley. I've found this site a great help and look forward to seeing it grow in the future. Thanks.
